About the Promotion & Tenure Recognition Ceremony

Each year, the LSU Office of Academic Affairs hosts a recognition ceremony for all faculty that have been promoted and/or received tenure. The professional milestones the honorees have reached signal outstanding accomplishments in teaching, research, and service. Our stately oaks and broad magnolias, Tiger Stadium, Memorial Tower, and the Northern Italian Renaissance architectural style of our buildings may be the iconic representations of our beautiful campus. But the faculty are the heart and soul of LSU, and continue to be the number one reason students from all over the world are attracted here for their education.

Time: 6:00 - 9:00 p.m.
Attire: Cocktail

Program begins at 6:15 p.m. On-street parking is available on Fourth Street, Fifth Street, and Spanish Town Road. Parking is also available at the Capitol and Galvez Parking Garage.
