Research Interest

My research interests lie at the intersection of 3D printing, engineering, biomechanics, and anatomy, focusing on their integration to enhance the development of robotics and prosthetics. By leveraging 3D printing technologies, we aim to investigate its use in the creation of anatomically accurate models and prosthetic devices that can improve functionality, comfort, accessibility, and mobility for users; additionally, innovations can be applied to educational design, providing interactive, scalable tools for teaching complex anatomical and biomechanical concepts in more engaging and hands-on ways. Current projects include the use of tensegrity and 3D printing in a prosthetic design and prosthetics optimization.

Teaching Interest

With a foundation in anatomical dissection, specimen preparation, and model creation, I leverage my expertise in engineering, 3D modeling, and 3D printing to help develop techniques and educational models that enhance the visualization and conceptualization of complex biological structures. My goal is to create innovative resources that support students in better understanding anatomy, integrating tactile and digital tools to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and hands-on learning. I am committed to creating a supportive learning environment by adapting my teaching style to suit the diverse learning needs of students, ensuring that each individual can engage and comprehend the material in a way that resonates with them. Through the development of interactive 3D models, customizable digital platforms, and physical printed models, I aim to foster deeper engagement and improve educational outcomes in the field of anatomy.

Clinical Interest

In parallel with my research, I engage in collaborative efforts with clinicians to utilize my expertise in anatomy and visualization. Drawing on my experience with 3D printing and modeling, I assist in visualizing complex anatomical structures, creating precise models, and developing innovative devices. I am particularly focused on exploring the potential for further integration of these technologies into clinical environments and medical device development, aiming to advance both patient care and clinical innovation.
