ROTC Scholarships
Students contemplating military careers should request information from ROTC about scholarships offered. Students can enroll in the Army or Air Force ROTC programs at LSU or cross-enroll in the Naval ROTC program at Southern University.
Army ROTC
In the face of today's growing college costs, Army ROTC offers merit-based scholarships that can help pay tuition and on-campus educational expenses. Contracted ROTC cadets receive monthly stipends of $420 per month during the school year and are paid to attend a special summer camp. Students who enroll in Army ROTC at LSU and who also join the National Guard or Army Reserve are eligible for other financial benefits. For more information, students should contact the Professor of Military Science at the college they plan to attend.
