Catering
All student organizations, departments and outside rentals must follow Policy Statement 60: Food Service within LSU Facilities and Premises.
Suppliers must be an “LSU Licensed Caterer” to deliver & serve food on LSU A&M (Baton
Rouge) campus.
- Catering that is picked-up or catered “off-site” do not require licensing.
- America To Go (ATG) is LSU’s contracted 3rd party that handles the approval process
to become an “LSU Licensed Caterer” (Licensing process is not the same as becoming
an LSU registered supplier).
- ATG is the "Door Dash" or "Uber Eats" of Higher Education
- ATG provides an online ordering platform visible and convenient to campus departments
- Food trucks can become approved LSU Licensed Caterers if all requirements and paperwork are completed through ATG.
Documents Required for ATG Licensing
- Caterer's Agreement (will be sent to you via DocuSign by ATG)
- Supplier Information Form
- Signed and dated W9
- Menu(s) with accurate, pre-tax pricing (LSU is a tax-exempt entity)
- Certificates of Insurance
- General Liability
- Auto Liability
- Worker's Comp
*All Certificates must meet requirements in contract and naming LSU and America to Go as additional insured.
Food Service
- Refers to Suppliers authorized to sell food on campus through retail outlets and/or food trucks (must be coordinated and approved by LSU Dining (Chartwells), dining@lsu.edu).
Athletic Concessions
- Refers to Suppliers authorized to sell food on campus in & around athletic venues (must be coordinated and approved by Aramark).
